From Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi, he received a Master of Technology in Computer Science. He most recently worked for EnterpriseDB (EDB) as a Senior Director, Professional Services for the APJ region, where he developed a reputable consulting team throughout the area. Amar had various leadership roles during his more than 22 years of employment at IBM prior to this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He received numerous accolades as a high performer and as the best manager multiple times during his time at IBM. He is eager to take on challenges and is constantly interested in improving the operational, technical, and delivery efficiency of teams. He also received the 2022 EDB MVP of the Year award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amar&#8217;s professional work at IBM \/ EDB is complemented by his involvement in academia. He holds various positions as a member of the Board of Studies at various institutions, including Reva University, KL University, VR Siddhartha College of Engineering, and the Board of Governors at Malla Reddy College of Engineering. Additionally, he is a member of the Planning and Monitoring Board at KL University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amar has now joined OpenSource DB, a Postgres Professional Services Startup based in Hyderabad, India, as COO. In this role, he aims to leverage his extensive experience to drive the Company\u2019s growth and Operational excellence. Amar is focused on building a strong team, enhancing service offerings, and expanding the Company\u2019s footprint in the PostgreSQL ecosystem. His strategic vision and leadership are set to propel OpenSource DB to new heights in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Headquartered at #Hyderabad, India, OpenSource DB is dedicated to providing top-notch PostgreSQL Professional services.
